Coach Roberto Mancini claimed not to be disappointed if Manchester City only earn a draw against Manchester United (MU) in the Derbi Manchester, Sunday (23/10/2011). However, he says, it's not the mentality of both teams.
"I think we achieve good results if you get a draw. However, it's not our mentality, as well as with United. Manchester United and City played to win in every game," said Mancini.
Mancini argue, fight fierce derby will take place later because both teams are unbeaten this season. Therefore, the Italian coach tried to prepare his team as possible.
"We must be prepared to have a good defense because they have a fantastic striker," said Mancini.
So far, MU did have a good record when faced City at Old Trafford. "Red Devils" suffered only one defeat when the host rival in the last five years, namely in the 2007-2008 season. However, throughout history, Manchester United have lost only 15 times at Old Trafford than 65 meetings
